The
rPET factory in Ghana recently welcomed students from Rising Sun Montessori
School for a factory tour, providing them with an engaging and educational
experience at the recycling facility.
The
visit gave the students a firsthand look at the PET recycling process, from
waste collection and sorting to the production of recycled pellets and flakes.
Through interactive learning, the students gained valuable insights into the
importance of responsible waste management, recycling, and the role of the
circular economy in protecting the environment.
Meanwhile,
Students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have also
had the opportunity to tour the Polytanks factory, gaining practical insights
into our manufacturing processes, operations, and commitment to quality. Their
visit provided a valuable learning experience by connecting classroom knowledge
with real-world industrial practices.
Collaborating
with educational institutions and other interested groups through visits and
engagements at our manufacturing facilities reflects Mohinani’s commitment to
environmental sustainability and community education. By providing
opportunities to learn about responsible manufacturing, recycling, and
sustainable practices, we aim to inspire the next generation to become informed
advocates for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
