Polytanks Ghana Sustains Support for Farmers Day Celebration

Nov/08/2024

Accra: Friday November 8, 2024-: Polytanks Ghana has made yet another significant contribution to this year’s Farmers’ Day celebration.

The leading water storage tank manufacturer presented two 3000 litres of its Sumo range of tanks, thousand pieces of 50 kg sacks, hundred pieces of Yam export cartons, and other assorted packaging materials to the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council to be awarded to deserving farmers.

According to the media relations manager of Polytanks, Moudline Duodua-Gyan, the donation is in fulfillment of the company’s commitment to supporting the Farmers Day Celebration every year, among other efforts aimed at promoting the agricultural sector.

“Polytanks has always learned support for the celebration of Farmers Day because we see farmers as important stakeholders in what we do and the true bedrock of Ghana’s economy. As such, it’s always a delight to contribute to initiatives aimed at putting a smile on their faces,” Moudline asserted.

Receiving the items, the Chief Director of the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council, Mrs. Lilian Baeka, and the Director of Administration, Prince Newman, were appreciative of Polytank Ghana’s generosity, stressing that the items will go along away to enhance the activities of the lucky farmers.

Mr. Newman observed that the comprehensive package makes provision for any kind of farming operation. “From irrigation to packaging, there is something in here for you, and of course it’s coming from the original Polytank,” he added.

He further commended Polytanks Ghana for the speed and generosity with which they responded to the Council's call.

The 2024 Farmer’s Day celebration is scheduled for Friday, 8th November.

Polytanks Ghana Features Popular Actor, Akorobeto in a New Brand Campaign

Popular Ghanaian comedian and actor Akwasi Boadi, also known as Akorobeto, was earlier this year recruited for Polytanks Ghana’s 2024 major campaign for the tanks division.

The campaign, titled “Polytank Nie Papano Nie,” which translates to “This is Polytank This is the Original,” is aimed at entrenching Polytank’s position as the leading water storage manufacturer in Ghana and to distinguish it from competitor brands that are sometimes mistaken for Polytank.

In a 30-second TVC that is already airing on TV and online, the actor is seen mediating and settling a scuffle between a market woman and a plumber by emphasizing the brand identity of Polytank and subsequently endorsing the brand in his usual amusing character.

Akorobeto’s association with the Polytank brand is expected to help drive easy brand recall for Polytank and to also make the brand relevant to all generations.
