Reporting Structure: Report to: Asst. Factory Manager

Purpose:  A Pet line in charge is involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. He ensures that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.

Principal Responsibility:

 

Planning and Strategy

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for factory development aligned with the company's vision and business plan.
  • Lead workforce planning to ensure seamless and efficient factory operations.

 

Production Management

  • Accurately calculate factory capacity levels to meet production targets while optimizing material, technical, and process efficiencies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of customer orders with a focus on high product quality.
  • Conduct daily factory cost analysis to consistently achieve monthly cost and revenue objectives.

 

Mechanization and Modernization

  • Identify, adopt, and integrate the latest technologies and machinery to enhance production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Drive automation and mechanization initiatives wherever possible to support continuous operational improvement.

 

Risk Management and Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify potential risks within factory operations and implement effective solutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across all operational activities to maximize productivity and minimize waste.

 

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate effectively with all departments to ensure smooth, cohesive, and sustainable factory operations.

 

Workforce Management

  • Strategically utilize workforce resources to optimize productivity at a reasonable cost.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company regulations and productivity standards across all levels.
  • Develop clear career pathways for all staff, particularly supervisors and team leaders, through targeted training and coaching programs.
  • Design and implement incentive schemes to boost workforce motivation and operational output.
  • Request and manage recruitment and manpower replacements in full compliance with labor laws and internal procedures.

 

General Factory Management

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed factory environment adhering to health and safety policies.
  • Sustain and strengthen Kaizen and 5S practices across all operational areas.
  • Exhibit strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills to direct and coordinate factory activities and resource planning efficiently.

 

Systems and Process Enhancement

  • Regularly review and refine production systems to drive operational excellence and achieve the best results.
  • Oversee spare parts management and control to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted operations.

 

Continuous Improvement Programs

  • Lead and implement initiatives focused on reducing product cycle time, optimizing power usage, enhancing workplace safety, cutting operational costs, promoting 5S, and advancing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.

 

Educational Qualifications: Diploma /BE in Mech/electrical/ electromechanical. Engineering.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Good technical and analytical skills
  • 5+ years working experience in the Manufacturing companies as Production Manager.
  • 12+ years of experience working in IMM
  • Machinery. With Husky, Ferromatik, Netstal, SACMI IPS.
  • Preferred background with hands on experience with mixed culture of electrical and hydraulic maintenance and troubleshooting throughout his career on IMM Good attitude, management skill and interpersonal skill
  • Hard working, think of ways to improve and increase productivity willing to work overtime
  • Not averse to change, must be able to listen and collect opinions from its team
  • Analyse and put new systems into place where necessary
  • In depth Knowledge in Preparing & Implementing Preventive Maintenance Schedules for Improving Overall Efficiency, Reliability and Safety of Plant Equipment, Machineries & Utilities with OEM guidelines & to plant environment conditions.
  • Preferred background with hands on experience with mixed culture of electrical and hydraulic maintenance and troubleshooting throughout his career on IMM
  • Experience in projects (Preform machine installation. Chiller, compressors & its selection)
