Job Purpose
The Finance Controller will lead the accounts and finance function for the manufacturing business, eiisuring accurate and timely financial rcpoñing. statutory and intcmal compliance, robust financial controls, effective working capital management, and strong business partnering wiUi plant and business unit stakeholders to protect margins and drive profitability.
Key Responsbilities
Accounting & Finance
Compliance & Controls
• Ensure limely and accurate s1ntutory compliance, including Excise, VAT, focome Tax, and other opplicnblc regulations.
• Ensure internal audit compliance.
• Ensure adherence to all internal controls and processes.
• Oversee st0ck and fixed asset verification.
MIS & Budgeting
• Deliver on-time and accurate MIS with variance analysis.
• Provide rolling forecasts on a monthly basis.
• Lead the annual budgeting process.
• Consolidate MIS and management reports.
• Develop business KPis and perfonnance trackers.
• Apply working knowledge ofBOM, wastages, and material accounting within a manufacturing ERP environment.
Business Partnering
• Work closely with Business Unit Managers (BUMs) and other key stakeholders.
• Support the business in achieving optimum Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Guide the business on working capital norms and flag any potential abnormalities.
• Proactively take corrective action to mitigate risks relating to NMI/SMl/bad debts, etc.
• Guide the business on raw material (RM) price movements and support pricing decisions.
• Protect business margins and the bottom line.
